Outdoors Poetry

Imagine, for a little while, that you're in a museum at some remote point in future time. The walls are cloudy black marble, the floor grayly carpeted. Maybe there is a folding table with a mussed tablecloth, cast slightly blue by the displays lighting as you approach. There is a hush throughout—no one takes school groups to poetry exhibitions, it seems.
